What's new at THE SHACK?

Farmers Market Now Open

Our farmer is doing some amazing things, we will be hosting our very first farm market with Farmer D and Rootlife so come on down to the back of 333 Valley Street by the school.

The SHACK Cafe

The SHACK partners with local culinary groups to share their cooking skills with students and seniors Menus and fee’s will be designed by the students under staff supervision.

Chris Murphy Visits The SHACK

In the midst of a spirited game of Bingo among a group of senior citizens at The Shack, there was an interruption. It was U.S. Senator Chris Murphy stopping by — to get an up-close look at what makes the West Hills community center work so well.

A Beacon of Hope at The SHACK

Nestled in the heart of New Haven, Church at The Shack has become a sanctuary for young people seeking peace amidst the challenges of urban life. When violence among youth surged, leaving many devastated by the loss of friends to senseless shootings and rampant car thefts, the youth turned to prayer. Their safe haven, affectionately called "The Shack," became a place of solace and spiritual renewal.
